about me
∼ about my musical journey, inspirations, and the experiences that have shaped my passion for music ∼
I’m Chloé-Marie – a multi-instrumentalist born in France, raised in Barcelona, now living between the Lake of Constance in Germany and Ibiza. I create and share music with piano, handpan, guitar, n’goni, djembe and voice. I compose, write songs in different languages, perform, teach, and bring music into all kinds of moments.
At the age of 11, I discovered the piano, and it quickly became my passion. I spent seven years to my musical education with a private teacher, who had also a very personalized and fun way of teaching, organizing concerts and collaborations with other musicians. I also achieved the grade 8 certification from ABRSM (Royal Schools of Music).
Life led me in a different direction for a while: I studied Economics and Business Administration at university and I worked 4 years in a company (a beautiful event location). I realised that I was satisfying some outer expectations but I wasn’t really happy and connected to myself and to what I really want to do. In 2021, I made a big decision and I decided to completely give up what I had and dive into my passion that I thought “it was just a hobby” and not a “real work”. I started giving more piano lessons, I started playing in different kind of events and working with some companies as a collaboration on Social Media.
This journey is truly about reconnecting to my authentic self and to what really is, to what really comes from me and wants to be expressed.
· it’s a story of reconnecting with the music that has always been a part of me ·
I compose and I write songs in different languages with the piano, the guitar, the n’goni and the handpan. Inspired by life experiences and by feelings and emotions.
My piano music is inspired by artists like Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen, Ólafur Arnalds, Joep Beving, Hania Rani, Agnes Obel, Jean-Michel Blais and many more.
I also find peace and inspiration in the music of Danit, Alex Serra, Curawaka, Little Whale, Geoffrey Oryema, Laor, Natalia Lafourcade, and many more artists from around the world. ♫

I really enjoy sharing my music at different events or just jamming with other musicians.
In addition to composing and performing, I enjoy teaching, where it’s about sharing the joy of music, finding confidence, and helping each student discover their own special way to express themselves through the piano, the guitar or the handpan.
More and more I am opening my voice. Only a few years ago I never had in mind to start singing one day – today I write songs singing and I create singing circles and spaces where we just can explore our voice and enjoy.
And when I’m not making music, you’ll often find me in nature (and taking pictures of it :P), watching sunrises and sunsets, walking, running, teaching artistic roller skating, relaxing next to the water, exploring the world, and finding connection with both myself and the world around me…
PS: Some fun fact about me… I used to listen to piano music for many years during ALL kind of activities (walking, cooking, cleaning, meditating, running and other sports, working, studying…) – it gave me inspiration and peace.
